Nevermind... Just looked at the back off the factory radio, and there'sno inputs!Kinda figured the guy was full of it. Would have been nice cause I already have an amp and speakers, now i gotta look for a good deck someday.

you can use a signal coverter to get RCAs. You can get converters at best buy too but usally they have them in that back so you have to ask one of there "expert installers" to get it for you. Or go to your local audio store

Maybe like all.......I dont know really much about cars, not to mention audio systems. But heres the spill

I dont know if you got a audio store named "Car Toys" around you but they installed 2 10" inch JL Audio Subs and an Amp.......all from the original stock deck on my neon

heres a little vid to show you that it can be done?!?!?!?!.....hopefully this is what your talking bout

I'm really old scool when it comes to car stereo... I'm think about this adapter we used to use...and I'm sure there is a much better, smaller, or whatever thing like it nowadays... it was an adapter where you just used the peaker level wring (like what would be already in the rear of the car) and this would change it to line level inputs for an Amp... so al u would need to do is run power for the AMp to the trunk, then tie that into the speaker wiring in the rear...then add whatever amp, subs and speakers u wanted.

this will work.. but the thing is.. personally i would never install any stereo system without a deck.. the deck allows you complete controll of the sound thats comming out.. with the stock deck and adapter (audio ..rca cable) you have a lot of control still but these adapters cost like $50 and you can get a decent deck for 100-200 so i would never personaly run a system on a stock deck..

and like Pablodragon says you can do it buy running off the speaker wires.. all the sub does is pickup the signal off thoes wires.. the problem with this is that you wont have much control on the sound..

IMHO the best sound is to run a mono block amp to your sub from an aftermarket deck (out of the pre-amp out) and then if u do wanna go speakers as well just run another amp from the front or rear audio outputs on your deck.. I am doing it this way as i need control of my music and i dont like putting stress on my speakers buy applying a lot of bass to them so i run the speakers with very low bass and then about medium on the sub out.. This allows you to keep 0 bass on the speakers and full treble.. this is how you would get the best sound.. look around at futureshop, bestbuy and other major stores like that and pickup a nice small (no need for more than 200watt rms amp).. i picked one up from future shop (open box) for like $120..

Just went today and got all the hardware for a deckI had from another vehicle soI can swap out my stock system in the Neon... Kenwood head unit and a Kenwood 10 disc changer. Kenwood 500x2 amp that will be pushing 2 10" 400 watt pioneer boxes.Figured what the hell I'm already running the wires for the amp and all, may as well put in a decent system while I'm at at!
Gonna get everything set to put in over the weekend when I have some extra time, plusI gotta go back to the audio store cause the damn package for the dash kit had 2 RIGHT brackets. Grrrrrrrrrrrr[:@]

Thanks everyone for your help!!!
