ive already had my 96 neon since 97 and my sxt since 04 brand new and she has over 100,000 miles on so both as long as I can have them . I guess I will be rebuilding both engines if I have and whatever else goes wrong.

Till the wheels fall off of it or until I get bored of it. I plan on keeping it for awhile but I get bored of cars very easily.

For a long time to come since these cars are pretty inexpensive as far as repairs, and I like this car for the most part. It just may not be my primary car in the next few years.
They seem a bit unreliable to me...and they don't seem like cars that will last in the long run...
Refer to my other post about your cynicism...

A Neon can last for 200k+ as long as its maintained and well taken care of and I plan on keeping mine for a few more years still.
I take you're factoring in the constant need to swap out parts?

I'm getting that damn foghorn noise...time to mess with the couplers [:@]

If by "constant" you mean the normal service intervals, and by "parts" you mean normal parts that would need replaced just like on any other car because of wear and tear. Then yes.
