my 2003 silver neon has a black hood, the guy just painted over the stock hood, and i want to get a paint job done on the hood and paint it back to silver its original color, do you guys know what the price range might be?

 

300-700, depending on the shop and the grade of paint, you could get it done for less. but remember, it might have to be sanded down to bare metal and reprimed

 

it wont be cheap.... if you sand it down yourself however it may make it much cheaper for you... as the sanding is what generally takes the most time for them.... they aren't cheap at like $40 per hour.... if you catch my drift

 

My custom mixed black cost me like under 1 grand to do myself. Yeah doing it yourself is really the best way to go feels good to say you did custom work to your ride.
