thanks, and Id rather keep the molding because EVERYONE is telling me to ditch them

 

Thats why Im also keeping mine on too against the flow. Just like the old school mopar theme Im going for theres only one sxt somewhat that has it but not like what everyone else is going for . Just stick to your guns and do what you want and none else.

 

I would get the black side skirts and lip kits if I were you. But you DEFFINETELY need black rims. I think it would look really good.

 

So no one knows it's an SXT. Also, I have an '03 and I just took the molding off about two weeks ago. Paint is still fine, but the adhesive was a bitch. My dad just went out and bought a heatgun so I'm taking the rest off tomorrow. Find yourself a plastic paint scraper if you do decide to.

 

Is there anything special you need to do to remove the door moldings or just heat them up and slowly peel them off?

I have an 03 SXT myself.
