Default Ebay intake HELP

I am tryin to put on y ebay intake. they say to use the shorter pipe they gave (about 6 inches long) and hook it to the trottle body. then hook the main intake peice into that. but if i use the smaller one the intake wont fit. if i just hook the main curved peice on then the battery bracket lines up perfect and evrything fits perfect. anyone else have this extra intake peice?????

That's the bellows tube.

My battery tray holder thingy doesn't work.

Do whatever you have to so that the bellows tube is in, and the intake doesn't rub the tire.

Yeah exactly. Well, the bellows tube is ribbed like a condom, but the one provided from ebay will allow more air to go through.

Unlike a condom.

the inside of my bellows tube is smooth just like the main pipe. whats funny is when i lined it up to see how it would install it wasnt even close to fitting with that tube on. but when i hooked the main piece up to the throttle body directly everything fit perfectly. heres another pic... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-03...ayphotohosting
oh and i would have put it on too but its very dark. and i just got the stock intake off in time.

Make sure the intake tube is pretty much right against the throttle body inside that rubber peice. I noticed when I installed mine everything had to be tight together for it to fit.

If I remember right I had to trim a little off the shorter tube. Measure your bellows tube, trim the short tube to match and you should be in business Hope this helps.
