ok, sorry i'm a little late on this post... but personally when i visualize blacklip on yellow i can see that it's pretty good... i dunno what's up but that photoshopped version doesn't look all that good. So personally i'll say get the black ones and put it on and take some pictures so we can look at it... and worst come to worst you can repaint it... no big deal So i say do the black first... oh yeah, as far as paint goes... factory painted mopar lip kit paint isn't all that good... i've gotten like 3 large chunks of paint off (interestingly all of them on the side skirt, no problem with front or rear fascia) just because of the high pressure car wash and ended up having to touch it up with touch up paint (too lazy to take it off and repaint the whole thing). Also, i vote that if you do opt for painting them.... do it yourself. It's not hard at all. Uses around 3-4 cans of spray (1primer, 1 base coat, and1-2 clear coat) I can give you detail instruction when you're ready to paint. Time might take around a day if you want glossy great paint (but mostly drying time so go watch tv ). oh yeah, use duplicolor. They match pretty well, i did some custom mix paint at one of the auto store here and it's like a completely dark silver. Good luck.

thank you, but after i put these on and now that I have hand washed my car, im going to hand wash the thing all the time. so yeah, car washes suck FTL

ALWAYS handwash your car if you have any modifications to the body or if you just want a better quality. and ALWAYS hand wax it. the spray on wax at the car washes are cheap and ineffective. plus the car wash doesn't get off all the bugs and tar which pisses me off if I pay $11 for a wash

yeah, i do waxing (meguiar's NXT) with my orbital rotor (shines way better than by hand) but i live in an apartment on the 3rd floor... so as far as washing (i do get lazy)... yeah... that's why... usually i do clay bar after washing so....75 cents & 2mins vs. 5 trips with a bucket & 30mins (i also don't have a hose to hose it down lol... but i might start doing manual wash...

sorry, misread a portion of your post... you guys' car wash is 11 bucks??? dang! are you talking about automatic? even automatic here is like 4 bucks... i usually do the cheapo way... manual pressure wash which is .75 per 1min 30secs.

I just use one of the manual bays, with the high power hoses, works fine. Then again, I have nothing done to my car.
