Default wheel question

tried the search feature, but had no luck. searching for a new set of shoes and i am finding 2 sizes listed for an 05 sxt.

which is correct, 5 x 100 / 42mm -or- 5 x 114.3 / 35mm?

are rings required for most installs or is it wheel-dependant?

finally, can i go to 18's without any modification to the car or rubbing, or is 17 the largest i can go with stock suspension?

thanks for any answers.

i have 17's and IMO i think 18's would look ridiculous on a neon, but i really like the 17's with 1.5" drop

I actually wanted to be different and went with 16s with a nice wider tire . Plus I got a really nice deal on my michlin pilot sports which were 200bucks a piece but mangers special was 117bucks a tires so I got a pretty nice deal. Plus my rims were 320bucks for all 4. Very few have 18s on here or 16s all have 17s . I would say go with what you want and feel would look nice on your neon.

I think both 17's and 18's look good on Neons. However, 99% of the time 18's arent very practical because of road conditions, which is why god created 17's for the best of both worlds. Oh, and the Neon has to be dropped in either case...
