Default R/T valve specs

Does anyone know the specs on the valves on a R/T motor. I want to know how much bigger they are than my first gen. Trying to save some money on an upgrade for my first gen.

according to the service manual the magnum valves are no different then the non-magnum valves. Part number is "4648 613AC"

The only mechanical parts that are different, besides the casting itself is the cam and the valve springs:

CAM:
Magnum ~ 4884 325AB
non-mag ~ 4777 128

SPRINGS:

Magnum ~ 4884 058AA
non-mag ~ 4777 535

With that said... I don't think the valves will be an upgrade to your set-up, since the non-magnum engine is no different than the first gen SOHC.

But puts out as much power as a first gen DOCH.

and ECU..... the timing is setup for 93 octane fuel and the magnum neons had a much more aggressive cam....as for an upgrade.... i'd say keep your current valves and just get urself some crane valve springs and a more aggressive cam... good luck!
