A QUICK QUESTION REGARDING TIRE WIDTHS
I was just wondering if one of you knowledgeable people could list a few of the advantages and disadvantages of running a 175/65/15 winter tire in place of the stock 185/60/15 ones. Mounting them on the stock 15"x6" rims shouldn't be a problem right? And is there anything else that I should know be it a safety issue or something other? Your help would be GREATLY appreciated.
not know to much about tires, but im sure ull be fine when it comes to the width, right now im running 205's on 17in. rims and stock suspension, im not sure about ur sidewall height
Thanks a lot for your input, it's very much appreciated! I bet those 17's look great. As far as the sidewall goes, it should only be ever so slightly higher so I don't anticipate any problems there. Thanks again, cheers.
Stock 15's? Also, if the 185/60s fit, so will your 175/65s. 2mm difference on the sidewall. Dunno about the width, though. It's winter time. That means winter tires.
