Neon SXT with 70K is making a clunking and transmitting mechanical noises when accelerating in 1st & 2nd gear. Had Midas shop put it on the rack and they noticed the front control arm bushings are partially seperated. Is this common? Can the front control arm bushings be replaced or does the whole assembly need to go?

Rock Auto offers both at decent prices and I think I could do this myself. Anyone done this on their cars?

 

you need a press, but yes they are servicable and yes they are common. I'm still waiting for my urethanes to come[8D]
