they have a front counter that u ask for specific parts then they check the inventory. thats the closet junkyard to me does it.

 

Yeah ours has that as well, but they also give you access tot he yard too...

 

The local junkyard around here doesnt let you walk around it either. They do the computer search an retrive thing.

 

Out here in AZ we have a lot of "you pull it" yards where you pay a small fee and then have your run of the place and can look all over the yard. Kind of nice to be able to do that and take your time looking for your parts.

 

here in iowa at least where I live we have like 10 junkyards that you have to check in and out and no fee .

 

At mine we walk around...and pick and pull what you want.

It's like afghanistan in there. O_O

 

yea here if ur lucky u find wat u want. and if u are taking orders. ill take a R/T header.lol

 

round here the let u walk around by urself and do whatever the heck u want but only at the one where they got cars from the 90s to the 97 i think and the other one where they got cars from 98 and up u have to tell em what u want and theyll go get it for u, and if ur not sure what it is they could let u in but with someone that works there so they can take the parts out for u.... freaking ********
