I havea 2003 neon that I recently had a full cooling system flush done on, and I'm only getting luke-warm air at best.

The temp gauge gets up just above or below the1 on theLOW/HOT range IE -

The blower motor is working fine, no complaints there, the AC works great too(just too cold to need it right now!)

Any thoughts?

 

did they use recycled coolant?
did they put in 50/50? im thinking maybee they used straight coolant and your engine isnt getting up to the right operating temp.

maybee something is blocking the heater core? got loose during the flush and is jammed in there.

are you sure that your thermostat is good?

i would take it back and bitch, before spending any time yourself redoing something that you paid for.

 

It is better than it was before. The guy showed me the old thermo, and it was stuck WIDE open, so maybe that could be it.

I'll go back and check what they put in it.

 

did they put in a new thermo when you took it back? a stuck wide open thermo will not allow your temp to come up and that was the reason you didnt have heat.
