Default Timing Belt

My car is getting up there in miles. I'll be at 89,000 way before the end of this month.

Now is this something I can handle? I'm not the greatest mechanic in the world. So far pretty much by myself I did:

LCA bushings
Tranny Mount
Engine Mount
Switched out struts
Disc swap

Now...those were kinda ehhhh....not really hard at all. Just PITA at times.

now this timing belt looks like a real pain. I'm hoping someone here who has done it or has a lot of experience can tell me some pointers. I can afford to have the car down for a few days, but possibly 3 at the most. I would want to do most of the labor myself to avoid costs.

Default RE: Timing Belt

Timing belt isnt too bad. Take off the motor mounts, crank pulley, remove the engine mount plate (PITA), lower and/or raise the engine with a jack when needed. Power steering pump comes out, then the timing cover comes off. Make sure everything is aligned at the proper marks on the water pump housing and the cam pulley. Theres more to it, but thats the qucik version...
