Default Question on taillight bulbs..or LEDs?

Had a rear bulb go out on the way to work...stopped at the local auto parts to get one on the way home (amazed how fast I changed it, pop the trunk and it took like 15 seconds)

...but also noticed some replacment ones as LEDs.. in the same shape and size as the regular style bulbs.. in the custom light section... do these look any different or can you actually notice a difference when they light up? ..of course, they are more expensive... or is the advantage that they just won't burn out like a regular bulb..?

(by the way, not talking about the DEPO style whole replacement LEDtaillights, just the bulb that goes into stock ones, if you couldn't tell..)

they should work fine, exept for the turn signals will flash like crazy fast, I don't think you'll notice much of a difference except they may be a bit brighter.

You may have had them in wrong, normal bulbs work regardless of which side is positive or negative, but leds only work one way, so if they were in backwards they wouldn't light.

u had ricer flash. its when you get the fast flashing, you get it when you replace front or rear turn signal incandecent bulbs with LED's....(or if you have a dead bulb)

this is how you fix it http://forum.2gn.org/viewtopic.php?t=9383

cool link I wanted to change the front signal lights (so you can't see any orange in daylight) but hadn't because of the quick flash problem, maybe i will now, thanks
