Default 2000 dodge neon motor issue HELP !

Ok so i was looking at buying a 2000 dodge neon, but there was 1 problem i noticed with it. There is a slight knocking noise coming from the bottom of the motor which could possible be rod knock but i dont wanna jump to conclusions, when i rev the car past 1,500 rpms it goes away which could possible mean low oil pressure at idle. I was curious if u guys knew anything about this or had any ideas. would be greatly appreciated Thanks

If u let the car warm up a bit does it go away? Where do u live? Is it cold there? I know a common thing with Chrysler motors is when the oil is cold / thick from cold you might hear a little bit of knocking from the rods ... it sounds like metal on metal as your waiting for the motor to warm up...is it constant or does it go away?
