its valve tap......

the engine is cold and the oil is really thin so it casues the the tapping nosie. Its not your injectors either.


wouldn't oil be "thick" when its cold.....? thats why ur oil pressure is higher when the car is cold... just a thought though....

Yea I have the same thing going on with mine. Sometimes i can hear it when its warm too, but my dad told me not worry about it. Its been doing that at every cold start, so I am not worried anymore.

yeah its nothing to really worry about...the oil just needs to warm up and it goes away

if the sound doesnt go away then you prob have low oil level

No its thin... I think. When you buy oil you want it thinner in the winter so its easy to turn on the engine..

I could be wrong too

Pharmboy is right. the colder the liquid the more viscus it is. meaning it's thick and it resists flow

Yea I think this happens to ALMOST everyone unless your car has like 2k miles on it..

gotta love Florida. today's high was 77. now cold weather yet. and when we get it it'll last maybe a month and a half or so.
