Default 5w20 vs 5w30 oils

i just changed my oil and i bought 5w20 instend of 5w30...does it madder? i got a 2004 dodge sx rt...thanks

The only year that used the 20 were the 2005's. They only made the change because it helps "increase" fuel mileage ever so slightly.

its fine as long as its winter and you live up north.

Actually 5W-20 oils in a good condition Neon engine will be of no trouble. Heck it might be a CAFE game for the reason but them 5W-20 oil are really well built and perform great. We have had Ford motors in the shop (when new called for 5W-30 that have had 5W-20 for nearly 150K of its 200K and the crosshatch was still perfectly visible in the cylinder walls when the heads were off for new valve seals. That oil rocks!!!
