Hey guys.. I wanna install the speed/cruise control setup into my 2nd gen 01 neon.. I find myself speeding a lot on the 400 series highways here in canada and on my long trips wanna be able to just throw on cruise and sit back..

Now how can i do it? are all neons setup for cruise but just missing the switches and wiring? Does anyone know where i can pickup a complete setup cheap? Maybe from a broken neon.. ill have my dad check with his buddy that runs a junkyard.. how hard are they to install?

are you guys looking to install an OEM system or an aftermarket system?

either way it's not going to be fun... I have the speed control .pdf, taken from the FSM,if you want to send me your e-mail address. You can get an idea of what is involved at least.

 

I actually have .pdfs of all the FSM.. i had a look threw it and got kinda lost.. i was hopping to go OEM..

I figured that all cars would be equiped for it (at least 2nd gens)..
I figured i would need to buy the switches that mount on the wheel as well as a wiring kit that would go and plug in somewhere.. if its much more than that i doubt ill be doing it.. as its not a big deal.. just kinda wish it had it..

 

they actually sell a kit for it i believe its just above $100 and i think its an easy install. ill look around and see what i can find
