Does a glasspack make the exhaust quieter or louder?.For the longest time ive thought that glasspacks are suppost to lower the exhaust noise.i have the srt-4 rear section exhaust, meaning no muffler or resonator equalingRFL neon.ive recently been getting unwanted attention from the cops bcuz i just have a srt-4 rearsection with no muffler.I bought a 22" cherrybomb glasspack to only find out that itwill most likely make the exhaust louder. Any of you experience this, with the same setup. Will switching to a 31" glass do a better job?

First let me say that there are no Stupid Questions, only Stupid People, LOL. Second off, a glasspack will make an open exhaust quieter but not as quiet as a Turbo Muffler or other style muffler like a FlowMaster or Magnaflow. If you add a glasspack to your exsisting exhaust it'll quite it down some but not much since it's a straight thru design but it will be quieter then it is now. You an always add it and if it's not what you're looking for you can have it removed and add something else. I did that with my '04 Dodge Ram. I put on a 40 FlowMaster and it was way to loud so I went with a 70 and it worked out to be just what I wanted.
