I can see it now...

"ok, I'm going to attemp to pull the horn pad off to get to the air bag without setting it off... here we go...... man this thing is hard to get off... ok I think I'm ge... (pop, thud) SON OF A B*TCH!!

 

To be more exact... whereis the "other end" of theconnection that's on the hornpad/airbag.........in other words, would I need to pull off the entire steering column? See, the previous owner didn't take care of this car- that's why I now have it.... I have a little "know-how" with cars and for stuff I don't know, I have my trusty "Haynes Repair Manual: 2000-2005 Dodge Neons" Using that is how I did alot of work on the car such as slight mods to the tail lights and headlights.

 

lol if you are worried about deploying it just take the battery out of the car... no charge means no deploy

 

just put a piece of black electrical tape over the light... works every time.

 

but remains the problem of why doesn't my horn work?
