Default Looking for transmission parts... need clarification...

Ok, so i've posted a few posts about swaping from atx to mtx for a while but now i actually is going to have the ability to do so after my grant comes in for next semester. So, i've been looking up car-part.com and since i'm new to the transmission area especially i've only driven a atx before, (i hope you guys don't start telling me that i shouldn't do a mtx swap if i haven't driven one or worked on one... this is why i'm learning ) so i've found some pretty good deals on the transmission itself... so here's the list but what do i look for under the car-parts.com component list? so if you guys know of any other places to get any of these components let me know! Thanks!

transmission (3.55 or 3.94) (got this)
modular clutch (I don't think i see this part on car-part.com unless it has another name)
passenger side axle (so this is axle shaft on the site)
clutch master and slave cylinder (found these)
shifter cables and clips (yet to be found, no idea where... suggestion would be great )
tranny side motor mount from a manual transmission 2nd gen (i'll probably try ebay)
MTX PCM from your year car (is this the same as the transmission computer?)
shifter and shifter base(no idea where to get, probably call junkyard up and ask)
clutch and brake pedal assembly from a 2nd gen (no idea where to get either)

You may need to get some of the stuff from a Mopar Dealer. Don't forget the Booger Bushings for the shifter and cables, it'll help to firm up the shifts a bit even with a stock shifter. It would also be a good time to install the Transaxle inserts and motor mount inserts if you don't already have them, that'll help you hook better by stiffing the mounting point so you won't get as much wheel hop. Other then that the dealer or local junk yard would be your best bet. Look for low miles on whatever car you get the parts from.

alright, sorry about the late replies guys... but i left for canada to visit my parents right after finals... so now i'm still in mississaga canada, but i'm still shopping for parts for the swap..., yako you said it's gonna be 2 grand???? it seems to me like it's gonna be approx around $500... maybe 800 top... the transmission itself costs 350, then right now i'm looking at a shifter on ebay for about $60 total w/ shipping on ebay... (do you guys think this one would work? and what about the pricing? it seems a little high to me... what do you guys think? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...IF:MOTORS:1123), i guess the other expensive parts are going to be the pcm, modular clutch, master and slave cylinder but if i can search around the junkyard, i think i might be able to whip something up cheap... hopefully. Oh yeah, yako, i wanted to swap to srt later on (my parents invested in a saving account for me and i will have 10grand when i'm 24, which i will take some of those toward a srt swap), but i wanted to become familiar with manual transmission first... i definitly don't want to screw up a srt transmission (ouch).

yeah, i had the same feeling... but i'm thinking i might be able to fix it by sanding the rust off and giving it a new layer of paint... oh well... we'll see... but for those of you who had done the swap, how much did it cost you total?

Make it easy on yourself and get a Fidanza flywheel so you can use a non-modular clutch set-up. It'll be cheaper to replace the clutch in the future and you're engine will rev faster and crank berring will last longer because of the reduced weight on em'.

Fidanza flywheel= $350, Fidanza Non-Modular clutch, stage 4.2 to handle up to 300 HP = $350 so for $700 you can get both, a Modular clutch set-up will run ya' around $650 for a decent one. I'm going Fidanza when I do my LSD install(hopefully OXB already prepped with proper washers and stuff.), that way I can just get a couple extra clutch disc and if I burn one out drag racing at the local 1/8th I can just replace that and not the entire clutch set-up.

and all these time i was thinking stock parts man... , i was thinking about swaping over to complete stock mtx... because i was hoping the swap would be around 500 to 700 total... because i wanted to do a full catback magnaflow, and swaping the mtx was just so that i can get a head start in learning a manual... i'm thinking about 1 grand for both mods... that's why i'm going the cheapskate route [X(]
