yeah, lately i think i need to get smacked, lol, i just have not had much money like i did last year, and it is starting to really **** me off... this is my hobby for the winter, but instead i have had to sit online and play poker for play money[:@] lol, i am going to get the car up on ramps maybe tomorrow and put my fuel pump in..... kinda glad i did cut up my charge card that i had gotten just for my engine block.... and did not go any further with that, i have priced everything out for my block and 2k does not come by easy expecially when i only make 16k a year...... i am still going to do everything else this winter that i have gotten, bigger injectors, fuel pump, and i already put on my different rrfpr, so i am thinking that all i have to get is my MS, but that may not happen till next year.... [:@][:@] [:@][:@]my tune was not that good last year and i did make it into the 13s last year at the track... so maybe this will help this year and keep me motivated...... at this rate it may hit 400whp in 400 long *** years[:@] LOL

 

you should be fine..... it just takes time man that's all.... its taking me forever....LOL its finally nice out today and this weekend.. in the 70s going to work on it a bit...

 

i think it is spose to be warm this weekend to....30s....HAHAH so i may work on mine alot this weekend just to get most of it done and ready to go..... i have to figure out if i am going to get it painted this year.... prolly not, i will just fix the front bumper (long story) and put it back together for the season, i would like to have it professionally detailed though, maybe it would get some of the scratchs out of the clear so i would be alittle happier with the result.......(if i do not paint it)

 

hey neons, i like that front bumper on ur car, did u have to remove the front bumper reinforcement to have that installed???? i was bord at work again and decided to take a second look at it.... lol i think that front bumper would look sweet with a big front mount intercooler behind the opening. lol

 

i don't think you would, i have the same bumper on order but for the 03-05. Hey but dt don't you have the 03-05 lights?

 

yeah, it is an 02 with a 03+ headlight conversion, i do not have a recent picture of the car with the bumper done(small pic is "in progress").....i like the bumper alot (mine) and kinda like it because it is one of a kind.... granted it is not drastic, but to anyone that knows neons they would catch it, i will post pics when it is mounted on the car.... hard to explain what has been done to it..........

 

yeah so kaminari does make a kit for the newer neons. The nice thing is that it has room for fog lights. Thats the one i ordered. Also dt did everthing bolt up easy? I tried to hook up my new ones and i couldn't make them fit cause of the bumper

 

did u try to get the 03+ lights on an 02-???? if so u HAVE to notch the bumper out alittle because the shape of the lights r different, take ur time and sand off the edges...... i may have to take a quick pic of my car when i get home to show u, but u will have the turnsignal whole, honestly if u ordered the body kit, just wait to put the headlights in when u get the kit.... then atleastu could turn around and sell ur stock bumper...

I had no modifications done to the bumper... I used the SRT FMIC and it fit perfectly.. Kamanari makes the 03-05 front.. and there is no issues...
