My friends got a blow off valve and he needs to no if he can install it on his stock neon. can you do that if u dont have a turbo or anything?

 

Why would you? It can be done but there is no real point. There is not enough pressure to even warrant it. For one, you aren't going to gain anything from it. And two it's not going to work the way he's thinking. "psssshhhhhttttt..."

If he wants the sound of turbo then he should just spend the money on a turbo. Buying a BOV to make people think he has a turbo is well....stupid and wasteful. Sorry if I'm harsh.

A blow off on a non-turbo car will do nothing, where would you even put it?????????????????????????? On the vacume side, you would not even hear it.
