I just noticed today that my fan doesnot seem as loud at the same settings (and not pushing as much air). It's still variable across the 4 or five speed settings but not nearly as much air. It doesn't sound like it's binding or anything just not as much power, and it happenend (Ithink) instantly.04 R/T with 50K inOhio. Any quick advice? Thanks.

 

Mine just started doing this on the way home from work yesterday. I couldnt figure out why I wasnt getting warm.

The air still comes out hot, just less of it. And it progressivly increases the higher your turn it up, but on the highest setting, it is about the same amount of air as it used to be on the lowest setting.

Mine actually still makes a lot of noise...mainly just lots of air moving noise... So this may be a different issue than yours. But it almost sounds like something is rattling around inside of the fan assembly. If I beat you to takeing it apart I will post pic if I find anything interesting. Please do the same...
