How hard would it be to instal a 5 speed manual transmition into an automatic neon. if my tranny ever goes i was lookin into doing that if its not to hard.

 

you shouldn't have to worry about that, Neons have a very sturdy auto, you'd have to check the drive shaft specs and get the right sizes but it should just bolt straight up. I think you also have to get a new ECU.

 

Its not that bad of a job. I believe that the only real hard part would be putting in the clutch petal. You will need a MTX PCM, and I believe new axels, but thats about it. Oh and a MTX center console for the interior
