ok i have a picture of the turbo


I know either the blue or red one goes to the yellow (wastegate). which one? and what do i do with the other one?

Green (surge valve) gets hooked up to a boost line on the engine side of the throttle body, or does it matter which side?
there is also a nipple on the cold side pipe from the intercooler, is that one safe to hook up to a boost guage? or should that be T'ed from the same line going to the surge valve?

Can i just hook the map sensor from my megasquirt to the same boost line as the surge valve?


i think that is it, unless I am forgetting a boost line somewhere. any ideas?

i ran my wastegate off of my intercooler piping.., as for the surge valve, my car does not have that so i am not 100% on that, i just taped the intercooler pipe and put a 1/8 in npt fitting in it to run my wastgate... works great......

i T'd the boost gauge off of the main vaccum line of the car running to the trottle body....

run red too yellow if you have boost controller put it in between.my turbo did not have the blue one I would just plug it. for the blow off just just tee in too any vac line I used the pvc valve one. oh for the boost gauge just use the the vac line too.

 

ok i heard somewhere that blue and red go to yellow and green doesnt get hooked to anything. well see if i blow up or not

 

i ran the yellow to my manifold... I wanted the wastegate reference to be a true boost measure. Meaning boost in the manifold, not boost anywhere before the intercooler. The other 2 i capped and didn't use.

 

green is the blow off valve I would hook it up

but that is just me some people like the sound of turbo spinning backwards [:'(]

 

He's right. I should have mentioned i didn't use the mopar rice plate. Hence why i capped it.
