ok i test drove my baby
and had my friend watch and hear he said that it sounds like you dont have the throttle responce and we check the throttle line and lo and behold the cable is really lose there is a inch a incha and a half of movent up and down
how can i adjust the throttle cable?to wear there is no slack

 

On the pedel.... but thier should be some slack or the pedel will stick down..... trust me, i did it [/align]

 

but the problem is that its like ok
if i floor it no problem it goes but if i cruis and then punch it it boogs from 3k till about 4.5 k and then it kicks in and i onno wat it could be its kinda wet here and i dont wanna look for the fuel filter let alone try and find it
and should there be 1 1.half inch bend like its really really loose

 

fuel filter is in the tank, so u will not find it unless u pull the tank, accually it is part of ur fuel pressure reg, but u can only get that threw the dealer, or a whole sending unit aftermarket.....

 

but i have to drop my tank right?

 

I doubt it's the fuel filter, just keep messing with the throttle cables until the pedal feels just right.

and p1684 or somethign
i dont understand why if i dont have the down stream sensor hooked up why it wont show that code but it will throw the upstream sensor code?
i did i search and i dont understand wat im sopposed to do
esp since my o2 was good before i took it to the mech and i dont think o2 sensors go bad all of a sudden.
can you help me out at all?
