Hey guys.

I currently own an 01 R/T. Ive been thinking about dropping it and getting a new car soon but I was curious before I drop it, what could I do to increase the HP? 150 hp is fun, but it just isnt cutting it.

Are there any upgrades (no turbo) that are fairly cheap (under 500) that can add some HP? Its currently lowered which is only mod (has a K&N filter). Any help from owners would be help. I dont need car suggestions, but mod tips.

Ive looked at cold air intakes but I was told they dont really help.

ur only putting 125-130 HP to the wheels btw.... 150hp is at the crank... CAI will give you a cool sound and maybe like 3-4hp, then u could get your Throttle body bored out to 55mm or try modern performance to see if they will custom fab one for you.... then you have the SRT midpipe and rear section or an equivalent, high flow cat, ummm motor mount inserts for sure, hmmm what else......you can have the intake ported and polished as well as get titanium valave and valave springs and then you can get the comp 400 cam, and i guess if you dont want to turbo it then after all of that stuff you can buy yourself a bottom end kit from modern performance and get the 10:1 (or is it 10.5:1...?) compression. after all of that i'd say you would be at like 190 hp at the crank... but you will still be running rich as all hell... but yea hope that helps
