Hi - 2001 Dodge Neon
I have to replace the drivers side door switch. I have the part but cannot figure out how to install it. I partially took off the door panel (as best as I could) but could not see where the switch was.
Can anyone tell me (step by step) how to replace the door switch?
Thanks!

Hi - thanks for the reply.
I believe it is called a "door switch".
The problem is "door fuse" keeps flashing on the display and the dome light is ALWAYS on (had to take the bulb out so as not to drain the battery). Also, when I am driving at every stop and start I get the "bing bing bing" signifying the door is open.
I have read on other threads on the web that this is a common problem and that the door switch needs to be replaced. I got the part from the dealer (pretty cheap - about $6) - took the door panel off (best I could) but did not know how to proceed.
I am SURE it's a simply task - just am brainless about mechanics!
Thanks
