ha ya my bad it is supercharged, also heard they using the 430hp 6.2 v8 engine for it when they already have the 500hp 7.0 one sothink they did one cuz of the price? the 6.2 comes in the 48grand vett while the 7.0 comes in the 74grand z06, compare to the 600hp 8.2l, 88thousand viper, of course hp isnt everythin, i'd think if a 08viper ran the sp 09vett the srt10 would come on top

 

for 70 grand i would get the nissan gtr which would woop that vette..

Base Corvette: 6.2 V8 LS3 430HP
Corvette ZO6: 7.0 V8 LS7 500HP
Corvette ZR1: Supercharged 6.2 V8 LS9 625-650HP. Why did Chevy choose the 6.2 and not the 7.0 for the ZR1? Simple- the thin cylinder walls of the LS7 cannot handle the boost pressure reliably enough to be a practical car. If they had used the LS7, the ZR1 would be putting out about 700HP. Oh and the 600Hp Viper doesn't stand a chance against the 625-650HP ZR1. A ZO6 only has 500Hp and it is only .1 behind the Viper in 0-60. If you want all the number for the two cars (ZO6 and Viper) car and driver did a comparison a few months back. You can find it on their site. Oh and neither of them stand a chance against my 145HP Dodge Neon.
