hard to say for something used, between $1 and $1000.

your labor is going to be the same for a new used or rebuilt. if it was me and i was going to keep the car for several more years i would get a rebuilt with a warranty from a reputable builder, like Jasper

I bought a used transmission for my 00 Neon for 500 dollars because my synchros weren't good. The used transmission ended up having screwed up synchros too. I ended up having to spend even more money to rebuild my 500 dollar transmission.

I'd say take it to a transmission place and have them fix it.
