Damn no matter which forum I go to I cant' really get a good answer. I'm going to get rid of my SRT tips (They're for sale btw) and get an ebay muffler....just a regular old OBX or something tip

But I don't know how big of a can to get? What's a good size? I kinda like the burnt tip...I just want a quieter car.

I have an SRT bumper sitting right next to me...that's not happening


It's funny how repulsive the neon community seems to be against cans. The SRT guys use them a bit from what i've seen

from my experience, the cans don't sound too good on our cars and pretty much every other car I have heard lol. I had one and it didn't sound too bad but it still didn't sound great, and i think they look really bad THATS JUST MY OPINION. I have heard the cans on turbo cars like wrx evo and srt and i think the turbo makes em sound better.

I know what you mean about wanting a quieter car, when I had the can it was "cool" for a while then it just got annoying lol. My magnaflow is actually perfect TO ME as far as how loud it is. It has a low rumble to it but you can really hear it when you get on it, and it actually sounds like an exhaust and not a buzzing bee farting everywhere lol

 

Just buy whatever and make it work. I was gonna get a can but, I didnt.

Still a newb to Neons...would those tips go on my stock 01 Neon? Or would I need to modify anything?
