RE: ???k miles
tell ya what, my 2000 MTX has 100,000 hard drivin'miles on it. never broke down. zero repairs.
just brakes, tires, and struts. i'm getting codes for a cam position sensor and i will put it in one of these days, but i do not drive her that much so it can wait. i will put a timing belt on sometime in the next 10k miles.
i had a 96 that i beat and it had 100k on when i got her, sold her with 130k last year and that kid still drives her daily.
my main squeeze is a 2005 ATX with 24k and i kinna baby her, but i think shes gonna do just fine.

40k for the water pump and timing belt isnt that a little early mine was changed at around 60k, but that was before i owned the car.
And in my opinion the first gens look like frogs from the front lol. But i have to give them this they are very relaible cars compared to the better looking 2nd gens
