ur multifunction switch is shot.... if you have those 125watt bulbs in there take them out and replace ur multifunction switch and u might need to buy the repair kit from the "stealership" so yea good luck

hey man.. i had a problem with my headlights comming on before.. i would toggle on/off as much as i wanted and nothing.. my driving lights are all that would come on.. and my gauge cluster would light up.. i would have to mess with my highbeam/lowbeam and then they would fire on.. i think i figured out why tho (this has happend twice to me).. i believe for some reason when i turned my car off my highbeam lights were on.. so then when i turned it on it must have tricked the system or something.. and i needed to mess with it.. get them on.. and always make sure u shut off your car with your lows on.. havent had an issue since i made sure i do that (since now im running HIDs with no highbeam anyways).. had the issue start about a year ago.. then the 2nd time it happend was a few months later.. figured out what happened and havent had an issue yet.. i dunno if its the same as your problem tho!

I messed with the high beams. I had to hold the high beams on while I drove and I tried everything to get the lights to go on... nothing...

[hr] FIXED IT!! I held the high beams on and turned the lights on and it works now!!!

Now time to explain how

I went to the stealership and they wanted 85 bucks just to diagnose it!? WTF!?! **** that... I went home and opened up my steering column ans checked the harness and on the switch side looked great... so I thought it might have been the MFS needed to be replaced. but then I remembered that someone said about the high beams being on and they switched them off and screwed it up. so I held in the high beams and switched them on... and POW! Holy SH*T! it came on!

What a pain... i need a new MFS..... i loose my gauges most of the time.... and never have running lights or dash lights...... i had to put the rear running lights on a switch so i could still drive it

ya man.. that might have actually been what i did to get mine working as well.. i didn't really remember.. i know i was screwing with the highbeams on/off and the light switch so thats prolly what i did.. so ya.. just dont turn your car off with your highbeams on and you should be good!!

Glad you got it fixed without any costs!

Ok. it happened again, this time it's fully diagnosed as the MFS. I turned on the lights, same symptoms as before... but this time if i jerk the high beams around you can see the fog light symbol pop up for a split second there for it must be that the MFS is shot
