First, I noticed while driving home today, when I let off the gas(in drive), My RPMs dropped to about 1.5k, the slowly dropped to normal idle at 750ish, it also did it in park. I did just put a short ram intake(sits in the stock airbox location),could that cause it?

Second, I picked up an srt-4 midpipe and rear section, which I noticed doesn't have a flex pipe. If I put it on it on I'll have no flex pipe, which I know is bad. Question is, could I take it to a shop and have them put flexpipe in, or is it something I can clamp on myself?

i think u can clamp on the flex pipe but i would get it welded on at a shop

 

I bought a piece of flexpipe that can be clamped, I guess Im gonna have it clamped till I can get it welded.

i think that rpm drop thing is normal. i say this only because my car does the same thing. if its not normal than at least we know we have the same problem right.

 

Yea, its the first time it did it. I read somewhere it could be cause by the cold, so Im going withthat.
