Default Block Heater

I've been reading a lot about people having engine block heater's and I just wanna know what they are and as stupid as this might sound, do most 2004 sxt's come with them or are they optional or what?

i do believe you would see a plug sticking out somewhere that you can plug an extension cord into, they are not a "bad" idea, but the neon's usually don't have a problem starting in cold weather.

The only real use for them is if its really cold, like Alaska or far north.

Not normal but nice. Try heat in feet not miles on a cold winter day even here in Chicago (or Alaska Lite?)!!!
