DAMNIT!!! Youf**kers allcursed me![:@]lol On my way home from work today and went by a sheriff that was in the right lane behind some slow traffic. The mother caught up to me like a mile down the road in order to pull me over. Wasn't speeding or doing anything wrong. Just gave me the whole exhaust isn't legal crap and my windows are to dark... But I'm always polite to em, plus I have my little sheriffs pledge sticker by the inspection sticker... So that always helps. Just told me have a nice day after checking to make sureI wasn't WANTED or anything! lol

But I mean come on, I'm in a Neon... I don't have money for a ticket! LOL

my dumbest ticket story...

a few years back i had a lebaron convertible. loved that car. was immaculate and had a fairly decent sound system in it. a friend and i were driving down a road that has nightclubs on one side and a river on the other, top down, system at about 30% at 12:30 am. cop pulled me over and wrote me a ticket for (and i am not kidding) disturbing the peace. street full of drunken people roaming from one club to the next, all clubs blaring music with outdoor speakers, and my car system is distubing somneone's peace. to make matters worse, a law passed here allows them to confiscate the faceplate and hold it until your court date. clever little trick - stops me from playing music and requires me to appear in court (more fees) with no chance to waive the ticket and just pay it off.

now i have 3 or 4 cards from various friends i have made with the cops who work as added security in the club i work at.if it gets to the point where they ask for my lic and such i just hand it to them along with a card as one piece. got me out of 2 stops for speeding within the last 2 years.

you need to have dusty give you his take.

I have never been stopped/ticketed when followed, but I never let it bother me. Sometimes in life you just have to shrug and say, well, if he wants to make trouble than there's not a lotI can do. So far I haven't had issue with an officer with that attitude--even with my noisy neon, camaro and suburban (they're all pretty dang open exhaust).

Not that I defend police tactics particularly, but with some in the family I should point out that any modified car tends to catch attention, so they get up close, read your plates. Check for stolen, check for reg, etc. Modified cars in some states tend to be stolen for joy-rides. You might even be grateful at some point he/she was checking your car out closely.

...but don't blurp the throttle or spin.
