undesolved that should work for you but i was thinking like what i did, trunk popper setup with the alarm. My release is in the trunk and just tie a string round that

I think you can get a trunk popper kit for the shaved trunks . But lucky for us 03-05 neons we have a trunk release button.

lol jokes no worries anyways i love the two tone look i thought about doing it to mine but nothing really goes with the shale green metallic neons 
plus i already started painting the '03 bumper i have in my basement so yea... its all good i guess
