Default Shift boot

Where can I get a real leather shift boot?

First, I ordered a leather universal shift boot from Howell and that didn't fit. It was too small and it didn't have the pins to attach and lock it down to keep it from moving. I though Howell should have told me that it wouldn't fit. I said it was for a Neon.
Later I ordered a shiftboot from a SRT at the Dodge dealership and that didn't fit either. I just don't like my pleather shift boot. I think a real leather boot can make the car look a lot nicer inside along with my Sparco shift ****. Would I have to customize a shiftboot?

What shifter do you have?

The SRT boot will only fit the SRT shifter, not the standard Neon one.

Most aftermarket boots say they are for the neon, but really fit the SRT shifter.

Dodge Neon ES

It's just a regular shift boot. I was just wondering if there were any real leather boots rather than that crappy pleather shift boot that they put on the Noens. Like I said, I tried a few shift boots, a universal shift boot from Howell and a SRT boot; which I came to find out neither of them worked.

Yah,
That's the problem, the way the shifter is made, it's really hard for the aftermarket tp make a replacement, and turn a profit on it.

I'm afraid that you'r stuck with what you got, unless you change the shifter.

I was thinking of getting a Mopar short throw shifter anyway. I'm wondering if the Mopar short throw shifter has the holes in a different place (meaning I will have to change the shift boot). [&:]

Yup,
When you order the sts, you need to order the boot and **** to match it.
Your stock boot will not fit it.

I have my stock boot on my sts. Its a little big but not that bad. It is hard to find an aftermarket shift boot that will fit though.

Will the SRT-4 boot work with the Mopar sts?
