I got race not street
I ordered a set of mm inserts off ebay, it said they were the street version, but theres a sticker on the box with the part number and it says race. Im just wondering if there is really a big difference and if I should sell these. Then tke that money and buy the streets like I wanted.

It's not that big of a deal really. You may notice a little more vibration in the car but the race inserts will be stiffer(read BETTER) as far as stopping wheel hop and keeping the motor in place. I've got race compound inserts in my '05 SXT and they work just fine.
IF they feel like hard plastic then they're "Race", if they feel like rubber then they're "Street", like I said, personally, I'd rather have a little more vibration and KNOW for sure that I'm not going to get wheel hop or have a motor mount tear up so I went with the Race.
They are hard red plastic, if theres not a big difference and they're better then my chewed up mounts. I'll probably do them sunday. Basically, just jack up the motor till theres no pressure on the mounts and undo them?

No insert will work very well if your mounts are bad. At the very least hit a junk yard and get some mounts that are intact then use the inserts in those. The Race mounts will help with wheel hop and traction but the street ones don't do much.

There is really no room for the inserts to move even with messed up mounts...my are torn on the bottom, but the insert holds it together pretty good. But yeah I wish I did have good mounts to put them in
I have really gotten used to the vibrations and rattles...

i just got mine, about 5 days ago, race, and i dont like em. to much vibration. but i think i have a problem with my idleing. to much vibration just at idle. before the inserts, if i had it on drive and stop at a light, it used to feel like it's idleing under normal, but if i put it on neutral, it would be fine. and if i'd put it after that back on drive, it would still be fine. dont know why it's doing that, a sensor or something, but it wasn't that bad without the inserts. now, it's still doing that, but it's too much. now, if it's at idle and put it on drive, it vibrates too much. is i stop at a light while on drive, it's way worse than a used diesel engine. i saw the mounts can be adjusted, and in the Haynes manual they say how the mounts should be adjusted. maybe that's part of the problem. i'll try to play a little with the mounts, and if it doesen't get any better, i'll take em off.
