I would never have a 50 trim srt4 DD. I heard the 6 pucks are fine to DD.

he said he would take 13k. Mods do have somewhat of an effect in a private party sale from what I have been told.
That might have some truth to it to some extent, but if this was an amazing deal someone would have scooped it up instantly. So obviously people think the price is on the high side or something else is keeping them from purchasing it. The way I see it, is that it has 64,000 miles which doesn't mean the car is past its useful life, but it definitely is getting closer to the point where more parts on the car are going to break and need replacing. Plus, who did all the work on the car? Maintenance? But the fact of the matter is, if this guy really wants to sell the car, the price will keep coming down until someone buys it. So if it was me, I probably wouldn't even bite on it until it was in the 11-12k range. You might miss out on it, but there are plenty of other SRTs that are for sale.

If he really needs to get rid of it, the price can still come down. Send him a pm with a lower offer and see if he bites. If you send him a lower offer, make sure you're serious about it. You might want to ask if the timing belt has been replaced. The srt-4s need to have their timing belts replaced around 60,000 miles. Once you change the timing belt, replace the other belts, thermostat, and if the water pump looks good then leave it. That's even more money on top of the car. If he says the belt has been replaced, ask to see the records. Like I said, there is always a risk in long distance purchasing.
