What 03 means is this:

The Dodge neon base Models (meaning the 2003+ SE and SXT models) were never truely meant to be fiddled with or modded for performance. You can see this with how it was designed. The intake, the exhaust, all relatively great for the engines performance from the factory.

So...

What I am getting at is all early stage bolt-ons do little to nothing for performance. Ontop of this, our NGC ECU's cancell out a lot of performance trying to keep our cars economical.

Maxing Horsepower, the only way to get above 200 WHP with a neon (guarenteed) with some work is F/I with a turbo kit. <----------- I think this is what you want to know.

 

Yeah, cheap fast an neon can only be said as. My neon was cheap and isnt fast.
As said, get a turbo and youll be over 200 for numbers.
