color themes are good and dont look bad if they are done right. I have a red and black theme going.I thinkhaving miss matching body panels is notreally considered a theme (more like rice). It just means that you need to paint your stuff. I hate when people putbumpers, wings, and fenderson their cars that is not painted. I waited 6 months untill my bumper was painted to match beforeI even thought of putting it on.If it was a black hood and everything else the salsa red then maybe it might go for a CF hood look. Why dont you get the people that caused the accidents to pay for the fenders and the bumpers and to paint it.

 

17 in rims, went down the junk yard today and all the parts I was going to try and get were all gone. I was sad. had to drive 40 mins to get there for nothing.

 

dont get me wrong, if done right the black and red will look ok. but there are alot of people spraying their hood black for that "wannabe" carbon fiber look. and its really cheap looking and tacky. so if you like the black and red look go for it. you said you were gonna get the parts from a junkyard so maybe a buff job to bring the shine back or maybe a spray of clear and they should go well together.
