Hey guys..

Problem.. I have just got a squeal the last couple weeks coming form the alternator.. now i noticed it was missing a nut on the top so i went to a junkers and fixed it.. still a problem tho.. so i went to canadian tire today adn they gave me what i asked for (alternator belt).. although it looks incredibily small since i think the alt belt is also the AC and PS belt.. so i think they gave me the wronge belt.. im gonna return it sometime next week.. but the question is how hard is the belt to replace? and a howto?

No, the Neon has two seperate belts, one that drives the alternator then a second belt for the PS/AC.

 

ok weird.. cuz when i looked at it it looked different.. i cant find anything in the FSM for how to change it.. and i did spray some stuff on the ps belt and the squeal would stop for a few mins then come back.. this mean i bought the wronge belt (not a big deal cuz im gonna get it on anyways)..
