The way I understand it, thr R/T intake has a diffrent bolt pattern than the stock 2.0l

Maby I'm wrong, but I think the cyl head is diffrent....

Hmm....I thought intake side was the same on R/T and SXT, exhaust side is different though isn't it? I've seen plenty of people do it over on neons.org so I doubt the bolt pattern is different.

Well, are the SXT and the 2000 ES models the same as far as the engine (specifically the manifold)? Could I switch my manifold with the RT also? Will that benefit me or would you only switch the manifold when u are getting a turbo or nitro?[&:]

Dave,

I just did some searching and found some info that may help.

If you type in "2.0l magnum intake" in under search, you will find a post started by me, in which someone answers your question. (sorry, but i couldn't figgure how to link it to this post)

Yep, I found what you're talking about, but I think they're confused in that thread as to what your asking about. You can copy and paste the address for that thread. I still am sure it bolts straight up. Maybe someone can clarify this for us? LOL.

i used to street race with a kid who had a 1st gen 4 door ...his dad was a cop so he could get away with having some stuff done...like no cats...huge wing..so on..it was kinda ricey...he bought an RT motor and when i last saw him, he opened the hood for me, and he had an intake with molder raised letters reading "VENOM"...i assumed it was the same venom that makes the control boxes...am i the only one who has seen this? CS? any ideas?

it looked like this:
