Default Air Intake?

I have a 2001 Dodge Neon, Automatic and ABS up front.. I am having trouble finding an intake, ram or cold air is not a big deal.. The closest I seen is on modernperformance.com which says is garunteed to fit auto and manual, but will it fit ABS, alot say won't fit neons with ABS?? So what do i get?

I believe that any true CAI will fit, you just have to move the battery to the trunk. I would recomend the iceman, I love mine.

OK! 00+ Neons do not require the battery to be moved to the trunk. AEM, Iceman and ALL other SOHC CAI will fit your car!

I too have a Neon with ABS but have noticed that almost all CAI will fit our models (mine is a 03).

I was also checking out the K&N Air Charger (fits really nice and you do not have to worry about having issues getting to it when time to clean like the CAI).

It is not 50 state legal, yet but K&N keeps telling me that they are working on getting it legal (like for all of their intakes). I am not sure of the window or reliability of the statement but I think I am going to go with the Air Charger over the Typhoon Kit.

Does anyone see a problem with my decision / suggestion? I am new to all of this and want to make sure my money is going into the right parts.

Thanks!
