turbo question....
alright i have decided to use the small turbo that i got that was not the right turbine.... but anyway, i have a question....
can i block off the coolant lines that go to the turbo if they r in the housing??? willl that hurt anything??? by just running oil and no coolant threw it, i know it will run hotter this way, but will it hurt the turbo, and will it hurt anything else??? i was thinking that spikeymikey capped his coolant lines off but i can not remember for sure?????????
thanks for the help, i am hopin to have the car up and running by the end of the weekend.. if not hopefully midweek.....

yea i ended up capping mine too. it should be fine. it will run a little hotter, but most turboes are only oil cooled anyway. you should have coolant goin through there, but if there is none, no biggie

Why would you not? Does it just not line up? I found that on my turbo the otherside of the coolant lines is capped.

As far as your capped coolant line, i'm not sure what you mean... is the turbo on the car and running now? are you feeding coolant but have no return?
