I want to pick up a spare engine oil plug to have on hand as I do most of my own oil changes and live 30 min, from the city. Just thought it would be good to have a spare. The problem is one supplier says it's 12mm x 1.75 and the other says 14mm X 1.5 can someone verify the size.

 

nope.... you'll have to ask the dealer b/c thats an odd part that usually the dealer is the only one that carries the right size and thread pattern.... and you shouldn't need a spare unless you're over torquing the bolt in the first place

 

its like 8 bucks at the dealer

 

not only can they tell you the right size, but they also carry them in stock at NAPA.

 

It is a 14mm X 1.5the 12mm x 1.75 was a wrong store listing
