hmmm.... best bet would be... tape it off just like... cover it, nothing special, just a square. paint the whole thing, then remove the tape and hand paint the rest

no, i'm going to use a manilla folder. Because i plan on doing this for some other people too. Cause i paint it the primary color, then i place the template/folder over it and spray real quick

did you get your msd coil from dave at motorsport?? if you did, how much was it. i think he charges everyone different prices over there.

mine was 75 bucks plus tax. i knew it. now on i buy from addictive racing or collective racing.

well finished the template last night, waiting for the primer to dry and iff all turns out, where i don't have to sand it again then time for the silver. Will have pics up later tonight.

bad news no black tonight, daylight is only allowing one more coat and it is the silver, have to re-wet sand on the siver for like the third time. Just wish had my own house cause i would paint in the garage or something

Just a heads up, if youre talking about making a spray stencil, you should use clear acetate(the sheets for overhead projectors). I do alot of grafitti style art and trust me its the way to go. Its much more stable, and wont curl or absorb the moisture from the paints.

mine is the same msd coil as you got. its the flat connectors i believe. the round connectors are for the eclipse i think. could be wrong. ive had it on there for a few months now. btw, this project of your is gonna look f'in sweet once its done. gonna match your car perfectly.
