i carry gates belts at work, and the company has come out with a new silicone style belt, reinforced and is 3-4 times stonger than a stock timing belt, serpantine belt, and radiator hoses.... they r blue in color only (not sure why) anyway..... has any of the neon drivers ran the timing belt exposed.... pulling that plastic cover off the top kinda like u see the hondas and other such cars in most compact car mags????if so can someone post some pics???????????

i thought it would look sick with the belts and hoses gates offers???? blue silver and black is my paint colors anyway??????????

The timing belt runs about 80 dollars

 

GRAPHITE, that is about what my car looks like now, but mine still has the head on it....lol, i am pullin the power steering pump off today, along with the alternator..... should be ready to be pulled after that, just have to unhook the cv shafts going to pull both the tranny and engine at the same time....

 

I didn't take the cover completely off on mine, I just cut a hole so that you could see the gear. Its kinda hard to see beacuse of all the lines that go across.

 

that is what i am thinking about, is r u really going to see the timing belt that much because the power steering hoses go right over it... and i would have to do alot of moding to get the hoses around the timing gear
